Local Rides
Most of these rides start and end at the Clock Tower in Vacaville. The links take you to www.ridewithgps.com, a site that let's you map rides (using Google maps) without charge (as of August, 2010). The rides can be downloaded to a Garmin GPS device and the cue sheets can be printed or exported to Excel. If you are not familiar with Solano County roads, pick up an area bike route map from a local bike shop. It's published by Solano Transit Authority, is good at rating roads, and covers from Sacramento to Napa and Contra Costa. You can download the map here, but be forewarned, it is a very large file.
The Routes
Winter's Loop This is the typical weeknight route. Click here to go to interactive map and cue sheet.

Reverse Winter's Loop Out to Winter's counter clockwise. It doesn't follow the clockwise loop (although it could), instead staying on Gibson Canyon to Cantelow and turning right to Timm's Road. You can find the interactive map and cue sheet here.

Gordon Valley Another favorite club ride. This is also the start of the Monticello Century and variations will take you on the clockwise Lake Loop and Hennesey Lake. Twin Sisters is included for a climbing effort. Here's the map detail.

Cantelow - Mix Canyon Climb This is a short but taxing climbing route.
