News
- The Rockhopper Classic by all accounts was a great success. Thank you to the volunteers and riders who made it a day to remember. Special kudos to MCC Secretary Laurie Fenech whose vision, insistence on excellence, and persistence kept everyone focused on the goal. See the results here; photos will be posted soon. Tell your friends and show up next year to make the Rockhopper bigger and better.
- Weekday Rides Updated. Weeknight rides begin at 6 p.m. beginning March 31. Rides will start at Ray's Cycles in Vacaville. The Saturday ride is 9 a.m. and may move earlier as Summer heats up. Post a message on our email group if you want to have a suggestion for a ride or want to confirm a ride start time. Several riders can start earlier, so post a message and hook up with them.
- Dues Reminder. Club dues are only $20 and are paid annually for the calendar year. Look here for the application.
- Board Meeting site. The Board meets at 6 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month at El Patron, 506 Main Street, Vacaville (BYOB: Buy your own burrito). It's across the street from the Clock Tower plaza and a few doors down from Ray's. Meeting agendas are posted to the club email group the week before the meeting.
- Lagoon Valley. A longtime Club goal is to make Lagoon Valley trails ridable (and runnable). This has some new importance with the Rockhopper coming back May 7, 2011.
